For me, Christmas dinner is not complete without a yummy sweet and sour cranberry sauce. Most recipes have too much refined white sugar for my taste. This recipe is sweetened with orange juice and maple syrup for great depth of flavour and added nutrition. Serve this with Scalloped Potatoes and a big salad or steamed veggies for a complete and satisfying meal.
1 - 284 gram / 10 ounce package of frozen cranberries
zest and juice of 1 large Navel orange (about 2/3 cup juice)
1/2 cup maple syrup
